Maria Passos and the Dyno-mite Performance crew have reset the Forced-Induction Six-Cylinder class record at the Haltech Horsepower Heroes dyno comp at Street Machine Summernats 33.

This Turbo Barra powered BA Falcon recorded a jaw-dropping 2202rwhp to not only take the class win but also win Horsepower Heroes outright.

The 3.7-litre destroked Barra has run a PB of 7.71 @ 188mph and with a massive 110mm Precision turbo and an eye watering 57 pound of boost it's no wonder it smashed the 6 Cylinder Dyno record.

This is definitely one for the speed lovers , and not for those who love an original car.

Darren took this VH Vacationer and decided to use the best that the Aussie ford market could offer, the Barra 6 cyliner 4 L turbo XR6 engine! Yes thats right, its a Ford motor in a Holden.

But don't let that turn you off, because Darren has put this car together beautifully, with some fantastic original touches and mods that suit this build perfectly.

All driving was done in safety of road rules, accelerations and speeds are done with added sounds and editing. no road rules were broken during this filming. Any action filmed is taken on private roads

This BF F6 Typhoon had some serious work done. It now features a full BTA Stage 4 package including internal engine upgrades, transmission, upgraded turbo, custom intercooler piping, fuel system and brakes.

The beast pulled 875hp (652kW at the wheels) on our dyno which put a massive smile on the owner's face. Can't wait to see what sort of numbers it'll do on a drag strip.

A boost leak test is cheap insurance to keep ALL the boost and make more power for free! I’m showing how I’ve made a simple DIY tool at home for this and then how to use it on my newly Turbo Barra BA/BF Falcon.

This tool can also be used to help look for vacuum leaks that could cause various issues from bad idle and throttle response, poor fuel economy and all sorts of other dramas.

In this ep we’re mechanically finishing the NA + Turbo Barra Conversion for BA/BF Falcons by fitting an intercooler, first stock and then an eBay larger intercooler, before taking it for it’s first drive with BOOST!

Along the way we enjoy plenty of turbo noises including our first little dose and flutter! We recap some mistakes from last episode including the oil drain, make some potential new ones relocating the power steering and trans cooler and show the complete turbo intake piping needed for a stock turbo conversion in your BA/BF Falcon.
